Bear's Den Lodge rentals are 16 foot and 14 foot Lund & Nadan aluminum V-hull boats with matching 25, 20 and 15 HP. Mercury and Yamaha outboard motors.
Boats are equipped with:
- Cushioned swivel seats for your added comfort
- M.O.T. approved life preservers
- 1 Anchor per boat
- Paddles
- Safety kit
- Fish measuring tape with slot limits

Extra boat rental fishing information
- Boats do not have running lights and are used by guests after dark at their own risk
- Gas & oil refills are also available for those renting our equipment at Bear’s Den Lodge’s Boat House dock.
- Floating bait buckets and landing nets are available upon request at no charge.
- All French River rental equipment is maintained in top condition and serviced daily.
- A certified scale is available at Bear’s Den Lodge Boat House Tackle Shop to weigh your trophy fish.
- Food – for self-catered Housekeeping Cottage
- Boat side safety check lists are available for individuals renting a motorized without a boat-operator license
- Assistance is available for the safe handling and operation of the equipment
- Renters assume all damages incurred
