Welcome to Bear’s Den Lodge, a family-run business in the heart of the French River Provincial Park, Northeastern Ontario, Canada. This historic lodge is 3.5 hours North of Toronto, built in 1925, is a haven for anglers of all levels. You can catch a glimpse of the 14 lb. Line Class World Record Muskie that weighs 59 lb. 11 oz. Fish for trophies like Walleye, Bass, Pike, Crappie, Catfish, Salmon, Bowfin, and other pan fish.

Boat-in or fly-in, we have the perfect accommodation for you! See our Rates. Choose from our All-Inclusive Meal Plans, you’ll love our delicious meals, which features home cooked meals made with fresh ingredients from our own garden. Whether you crave a hearty breakfast, a satisfying boxed lunch, or a cozy dinner, we have something for everyone. Enjoy the taste of nature and the warmth of our hospitality at Bear’s Den Lodge. If you prefer, we offer Self-Catered Housekeeping Cottages for those wishing to prepare their own adventure in fully equipped cottages.

Enjoy our 16-foot Aluminum boat rentals, with flat floors, and 25hp motors. Upgrade your boat rental with trolling motors and depth finders. Canoes are also available.

U.S. citizens entering Canada require a United States Passport to re-enter the USA.

Please allow for 6 – 8 weeks to obtain or renew prior to travel to Canada.

The Government of Canada’s official website to apply for an eTA. It only costs $7 CAD. Most eTA applications are approved within minutes of applying.

New entry requirement now in effect: visa-exempt foreign nationals who fly to or transit through Canada need an Electronic Travel Authorization (eTA). Exceptions include U.S. citizens and travellers with a valid Canadian visa. Canadian citizens, including dual citizens, and Canadian permanent residents cannot apply for an eTA.

Entry requirements for other methods of travel (land, sea) have not changed.
